Water Reflectance Model: Morel-Maritorena

Standalone MorelMaritorena program:

  • The model is valid for the range of wavelengths 350-2400 nm.
  • Example python script to run the program: run_morel.py

  • linux operating system, installation of python, and the python extensions NumPy and Cython.
  • Software Files needed (Python,Cython,C):
    • Main routine: water2.pyx (contains "MorelMaritorena" class in cython/python, others removed), and water2.pxd (cython file needed by water2.pyx)
    • cython and C modules needed by water.pyx: clut.pyx, and clut.pxd, and fresnel.c
  • Data File needed:
    • morel_fq.dat
  • Program needed to compile routine with cython: setup.py
